Hello Tiffany Park Families!

I am so proud of the excellent learning that is happening in all of our classrooms! As I visit classrooms I see teachers providing many interesting learning opportunities. There is excitement in the air as students master new concepts and skills in reading, mathematics, writing, and science. Students have just completed the second round of reading testing and our scores indicate tremendous increase in student reading fluency and comprehension. Reading smoothly and with understanding are two very important parts of successful learning. Tiffany Park is a school where important learning takes place every day.

Attendance and School Starting Time

I want to thank you for making sure that your child comes to school rested and ready to learn. Please help us to make sure that your child comes to school on time and every day.

Mondays – Thursdays

• Have your students arrive to school by 8:25, unless they are eating breakfast.
• Breakfast is served at 8:10.
• The line-up bell rings at 8:30
• Instruction begins at 8:35. It is important that your child is in the classroom, ready to learn, at 8:35.
• For your student’s safety, it is important that students arrive no earlier than 8:10. We do not have adequate personnel to supervise students prior to 8:10.

On late-start Fridays

• The Breakfast program begins at 9:40.
• Student line-up at 10:00
• Instruction begins at 10:05

We are asking that if a child is tardy that a parent or supervising adult accompanies the student to the office to sign-in.

Driveway and Parking Lot

We thank you for the great care many of you are showing in keeping our students safe and the front pick-up area smoothly running. There are several things all of you can do to help us keep our students safe during dismissal.

• Please park in the parking lot stalls and come to the front of the school to meet your student.
• If there are no more parking stalls available and you need to stop by curb that is painted red, you must remain in your car and your child will come to you. This is a fire lane and must be open for emergency vehicles at all times.
• Children are not to climb into a car that is in the middle of the driveway.
• During school hours you must park in the parking stalls.
• Students must be picked up at the front of the schools, not in the back where students wait for buses.
