Mini-College
February 12 - 16, 2007

During the week of February 12-16, 2007 we will be having Talbot Hill's Mini-College. The concept of Mini-College is to invite guest professors to come in and teach the students an area of your own personal expertise or interest. Past topics have included: sharing about a career, teaching students simple steps in writing a business plan, training new "tellers" at our bank, learning the process of court trials, how to problem solve in a team, and craft ideas that the students can use for future products in their businesses. It has been particularly interesting to students when our guests had the kids participate in an activity or brought in pictures or samples to share.

This is a wonderful experience for our students as they learn first hand from professionals from our local community. Information regarding this event is attached. We look forward to hearing from you! If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please contact me at 425-204-4916 or at sally.boni@renton.wednet.edu . Or download this sign-up form, fill it out and return it to Sally Boni at Talbot Hill Elementary School, 2300 Talbot Road S., Renton, WA 98055.

These are some pictures from previous Mini-Colleges! Hope to see you here!
