Timothy
Jenkins Instructor

I have been a part of Sartori's program since 1987 and spent
3 additional years in education before coming to Sartori. I am certified
in social studies and language arts, and have taken many courses
to
help with
teaching
general education.
Sartori provides students with the opportunity to bury the past and
start fresh. It is my responsibility to discover and foster the talents
and skills of each student. The individualized instructional model
at Sartori makes me more of a coach or facilitator than a traditional
teacher. Essentially my job is to help students learn how to learn.
The small school environment at Sartori enables me to know each student
as an individual. Understanding the challenges students face and
helping them overcome obstacles is the most rewarding aspect of teaching
at Sartori.

Hours:
6:30am-12:45pm

I strive to work constructively with my students and those who support them. Over the past 5 years I have worked with students in various alternative environments from middle to high school grade levels. I have earned a bachelors of arts, a masters, and endorsements in language arts and special education.
