Academic Excellence
Excellence in Action
A program of studies for students who wish to
pursue a rigorous academic program. It encourages scholastic
achievement, fine arts education, computer literacy, extra-curricular
participation, and community service. At graduation, a special
certificate and medallion are awarded to those who have met
the requirements. See your counselor for more information.
Honor Roll
To be eligible to be on honor roll for a given
semester, a student must have earned at least 2 credits with
a GPA of 3.20 or above.
Grading
The following system is based on the State Standardized
Transcript. The standardized transcript shall be based on a
marking / grading system that reports the marks / grades earned
by students in courses as follows:
A = 4.0 |
C = 2.0 |
A- = 3.7 |
C- = 1.7 |
B+ = 3.3 |
D+ = 1.3 |
B = 3.0 |
D = 1.0 |
B- = 2.7 |
F = 0.0 |
