Community, staff invited to hear and see changes planned for the Thomson School site

District maintenance and facilities department soon will be housed at the site

A community open house, to offer information on the coming changes to the Thomson School site, is planned for Tuesday, August 29, 5 – 7 p.m. in the Thomson cafeteria, 7812 South 124th Street.

The school soon will be razed and replaced with the district's maintenance and facilities departments.

Presentation stations at the open house will include a timeline for the project, architectural drawings, aerial photos, landscape designs and more.

About 300 households around Thomson School are receiving invitations to the event (see attached).
