District mentor named Renton Citizen of the Year

October 2006 - Renton’s Communities in Schools (CISR) Board Chair Bob McBeth has been named Citizen of the Year. McBeth, who recently retired as a King County District Court judge, serves on the board of the Renton Rotary, is a Renton Chamber member and a mentor in the CISR program. McBeth will be honored at the Citizen of the Year Banquet on Thursday, October 19, at 5 p.m. at the Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave N, Renton. McBeth says he’s proud to be a part of the great work of CISR, including the work of family liaisons who help district children and families with social needs.
