Hazen High School honors top grads at school board meeting
May 23, 2007— Hazen High School students were recognized as Outstanding Seniors at the May 23 school board meeting. Principal Sue Beeson introduced the 12 students as an exceptional group who are representative of the greater student body at Hazen.
The students were presented as a multi-talented group that carried a full and varied academic schedule rich with athletics, activities and fine arts, throughout their senior year; are successful in the classroom; active in the community and in service organizations; and reflect what is best about Hazen High School.
Students spoke briefly during the presentation about what made them successful in school and motivated them in their personal life. They recognized their parents in attendance, acknowledged friendships with other students and honored teachers as “Most Inspirational.”
