The free presentation will focus on how these issues fit together to create an overall fabric of life for the individual with a disability. It will emphasize the need to foster independence, self determination, self sufficiency and to provide basic protections.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER : Larry A. Jones, J.D. is a lawyer and the parent of a person with disabilities. In 1984 he was chosen the ARC’s National Volunteer of the Year for his work on behalf of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His firm’s website is www.seattledisabilitylaw.com.
