January 28, 2000 - KING TV paid a visit to Talbot Hill Elementary Thursday, January 27 to produce a feature segment on the school's Ventures program. The innovative program, which allows students to create businesses and participate in a micro-society, has received state and national attention. Part of KING TV's connection to Talbot Hill is the fact that students participate in a media strand and the station has served as their media mentors.
