May 25, 2000 - May 25 at 2:30 pm, the Sierra Heights community will celebrate "Dream Mile 2000." The event is a culminating PE activity coordinated by teacher Jim Blundred, in which the 10 fastest boys and 10 fastest girls run a mile race in front of the entire school. This year features some of the fastest runners ever, including one fifth-grader who's been timed at 5 minutes 29 seconds.
