Renton School District Earns a "What Parents Want Award" April 20, 2000 - The Renton School District has once again been selected by School Match for the 2000 Ninth Annual School System "What Parents Want Award." Only 15% (approximately 2,360) of the nation's 15,620 school systems are designated for this special honor. The award recognizes schools which are accountable and are meeting the needs of their students by surveying approximately 70,000 parents.
