Engineering, Science
and Technology Fair - February 2003
Staff, students
and parents are invited to the Washington State Engineering, Science
and Technology Fair at the Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue
on Saturday, February. 22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday February 23,
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Almost everything we use today
involves the work of engineers. You can discover or find out more
about engineering at the Engineering, Science and Technology Fair.
The event is free and part of local activities associated with National
Engineers Week (Feb. 15-23). Students interested in engineering
and their parents are especially invited to attend this event.
You’ll have the chance
to see over 20 display booths representing many types of engineering
work. There will also be a Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition
on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Noon, sponsored by the local chapter
of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
The fair is sponsored by the
Puget Sound Engineering Council. For more information, visit PSEC’s
Web site at www.pseconline.org.
