Black River students sell plants to support program

May 2003 - Black River High School students are selling and potting plants throughout May to support the school's horticulture program. All of the plants are propagated by horticulture students. Four-inch annual plants will cost 75 cents; perennials will cost $1.25; and houseplants will sell for $1.

People who bring their own containers can have the students pot the plants for a fee.
The sale will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in May at Black River, 7800 S. 132nd St., Seattle.
