Renton Educators Receive 'Ahead of the Class' Awards

April 2003 - The Ahead of the Class Award, given to seven individuals or teams of outstanding Renton teachers, recognizes excellence in education. The award program is a partnership between the Greater Renton Chamber of Commerce, Renton public and private schools, and businesses in Renton. The aim of the program is to enhance community awareness of the excellence of education in Renton. More than 60 teachers were nominated by district staff, parents, and community members.
