Employees for 2000-2001
April 2001 - Congratulations to the
RSD Outstanding Employees for 2000-2001.
Theresa Clymer, Language Arts/Social
Studies Resource Teacher, was named Outstanding District Support
Person. Her goal of improving instruction and learning in the
district has impacted curriculum at all levels and touched buildings
across the district.
Outstanding Secondary Teacher is Hazen
Special Education Teacher Angie Atkinson. Principal Rick Stubrud
notes that Angie "has a class demeanor that exudes confidence
and caring" so that all of her students succeed.
Tiffany Park's LAP Specialist Vicki
Steckler was selected as the Outstanding Building Support Person.
Vicki has served on numerous school committees and is activiely
involved in all of the school's special reading and student self-esteem
building programs.
Wouldn't you like to be a "Ricette"
too! That's how the committee felt after selecting Maplewood Heights
2nd grade teacher Wendy Rice as the Outstanding Elementary Teacher.
She has shown a complete dedication to education and building
young lives and as her students know "once a Ricette always a
Ricette."
These four incredible employees will
be honored at the April 11 School Board Meeting, 7 pm, Kohlwes
Education Center.
