Benson Hill Teacher Selected for
Fullbright Teacher Program

April 2001 - Congratulations to Benson Hill teacher June Nakano who was recently selected as a participant in the Fulbright Memorial Fund (FMF) Teacher Program to Japan. As an FMF Scholar, Mrs. Nakano will be provided with a professional development opportunity to raise her awareness of and interest in Japan. Upon her returning to the states, she will apply her cross-cultural experiences at home, school and in her community. June is one of two Washington teachers to receive this honor.
