1. Clothing and Equipment: It is required that all students have a complete change of clothes for Physical Education class. If a student does not dress down for P.E. he/she receives a clothing cut for the day, if no note is brought from home. Three unexcused clothing cuts a quarter lowers their grade one full grade. (Absolutely no jewelery!!!)

2. Clothing and Marking: All clothing and equipment belonging to the individualstudent must be marked with his/her name.
3. Cleanliness of Clothes: All clothing used in P.E. except shoes will be taken home by the student every Friday and laundered. Equipment will be checked for cleanliness every Monday by the Physical Education teacher.
4. Lockers and Padlocks: Every student will be issued one P.E. locker and is responsible to buy a combination padlock ($5.00). All articles must be locked in the locker at all times, the school does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen property. Please do not leave expensive articles in the locker overnight or over an extended period of time.
5. Showering: Every student who participates in P.E. should shower. Showering is highly recommended but not required. Students that shower will need to provide their own towel, as none are supplied by the school.
6. Time Allowed: Students will given 5 minutes at the beginning of the period to change clothes. At the end of the period the class will be dismissed to the locker room approximately 5 - 7 minutes before the end of the period.
7. General Procedures:
A. Be in locker room when the tardy bell rings.
B. Suit up quickly and quietly.
C. Report directly to assigned teaching station.
D. Sit and talk quietly in assigned squad.
E. Return to the locker room only when dismissed by the teacher.
F. Get dressed and sit quietly on the bench.
G. Leave only when dismissed by the teacher.
8. Personal Conduct: The gymnasium, including the dressing and shower areas is a classroom. The standard of conduct in P. E. class will be the same as for any regular classroom. A list of rules is posted in each of the locker rooms.
9. Injuries: All injuries must be reported immediately to the teacher.
10. Medical Excuses: If at any time during the school year, a student needs to be excused from physical activity because of any illness or injury, the nature of which does not prevent them from attending school, they must have a note from home or the doctor. If the excuse is for a short period of time the teacher will assign the student some type of meaningful task to perform, or assign the student to the library. An extended injury such as a broken bone or a semi- permanent or permanent physical condition the student must see the counselor and arrange for a schedule change.
11. Lost and Found: A lost and found box for P.E. equipment will be maintained by the P.E. staff. Any lost articles should be turned in to them. A student who has lost an article should check with his/her teacher as soon as the loss is discovered.
Standards by which Students will be Graded:
A. Attendance and dressing regularly for class.
B. Attitude ( sportsmanship, cooperation, conduct)
C. Knowledge of rules and procedures of the activities.
D. Personal Hygiene (bodily care, P.E. clothing and equipment)
