News and Events

Thank you for voting! Both of the district levies passed in the March 11 election. The bond measure failed by just 78 votes (bonds still require a 60% supermajority). The bond issue will be on the May 20 ballot, please vote! The McKnight PTSA board of directors has endorsed the bond and levy measures as beneficial to students in the Renton School District.

The next PTSA meeting is Monday May 12, at 7:00pm in the McKnight library. It is a Board of Directors meeting, but all members (and non-members) are welcome to attend. The proposed budget for 2008-2009 will be presented for discussion; final approval at the General Meeting in June.

The Cool 2B Clean dance will be Friday June 6 (changed from May 30). Volunteer help will be needed! Contact info coming soon.

PTSA is a nationally recognized organization and supports McKnight Middle School in Legislation, Cool 2B Clean Party, Health Screening, 8th Grade Reception and Celebration, Reflections and Staff Appreciation
Our meetings are open to all parents, feel free to drop in. We welcome you to become a McKnight PTSA member to be a voice for our children, who need us more than you may know.
