Fundraising

Maplewood Heights PTA is an organization working for the health, welfare, safety and education of children in the school community. Our fundraising efforts help provide students and teachers with the educational support that tax dollars just don't cover....

  • We sponsor assemblies, field trips, and family events.
  • We provide books and magazines for the library.
  • We supplement classroom supplies and playground equipment.
  • We provide music equipment and art programs.
  • We furnish computing equipment and software.
  • We provide scholarship money to a deserving Hazen graduate.
  • and we do much, much more!

Maplewood Heights PTA has two major fundraisers - Entertainment Book sales in the fall and a spring walk-a-thon held jointly with the ASB. In addition to these fundraisers, we participate in several other on-going programs including:

  • Box Tops for Education: Send in the 10 cent box top from many General Mills and related products.
  • Escrip
  • Washington Mutual's WaMoola Program: For those with Washington Mutual Visa Cards, the bank will donate money based off purchases to the designated school of your choice. This is at no cost to you.
  • Albertson's Community Partners Card: Scan a MWH Community Partner card and a portion of your purchases goes to the school. This is at no cost to you.
  • Toner Cartridge Recycling Program: Send in your used printer cartridges and cell phones to be recycled. See posted list at school for the current acceptable list as it changes often.
  • Campbell's Soup Labels: Send in your soup labels to buy playground equipment.
MWH PTA is a non-profit organization. Donations may be tax-deductable.

Thank you for supporting Maplewood Heights PTA!
