Be sure to join one of the many committees, and help our PTA do all the things it sets out to do!

The Kennydale PTA sponsors many events that promote our core values. These include a family fun night where students, teachers and families join together for a dinner, auction and sock hop. Parents can appreciate their children while watching them perform at our annual spring concert and ice cream social. We also have a carnival where students, parents, and staff all help to make the event a success. Reflections is an annual art event where students can show their creativity, imagination and hard work. Our annual talent show brings out organization and creativity in students as well as giving them a great amount of self esteem as they perform in the spotlight. At each of our evening events sponsored by PTA, students are required to attend with an adult which insures safety and helps bring families together. The PTA sponsors an art docent program where parents share famous art prints with classrooms. The PTA's art docent program broadens children's awareness and appreciation of the works of masters in the visual arts and encourages self-expression and originality through follow ups-on art experience. PTA also helps the needy of our school community by offering donations through the family liaison program for school supplies, holiday gifts, clothing , food , counseling, tutoring and mentoring programs. Finally, the PTA gives grants to teachers for art supplies, classroom supplies, field trips, safety supplies, and library books.
