IMS is charged with implementation and support of technology within the Renton School District. Services provided include network and desktop support, software and hardware purchasing standards, training computer lab, videoconferencing, and telecommunications/telephone services.

Current Initiatives

Renton Learning Gateway

At the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year, Renton School District implemented a web portal to give parents and guardians access to a variety of student information such as attendance, health information, in some cases, grades and classroom assignments. This web portal is called the Renton Learning Gateway. From the Learning Gateway, parents and guardians can connect directly to Skyward Family Access.
