Tutoring Option
A limited number of weekly tutoring appointments are available for any subject area, using district curriculum.
This option is primarily used by secondary students.
Meet with a
certificated
teacher for one hour per week.
You are responsible for at least twenty-five hours of homework per week.
Student will need to have someone available to help with questions between meetings with the teacher.
High school students must earn at least three credits per semester to stay in the tutoring program.
Tutoring students are not eligible to take classes in addition to their tutoring appointments.
Parent and student must meet with the teacher
each month to set goals and review progress.
Parent and student are responsible for
maintaining records showing a total of at least 25 hours per
week of schoolwork.
