ECEAP
Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program

Program Description
The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive stat funded preschool program providing early childhood programs for low income preschool children and their families. Modeled after the federally funded Head Start program, ECEAP experiences include:

  • Early childhood education services
  • Nutrition services
  • Health screenings and follow-up
  • Family support
  • Family involvement and leadership opportunities

ECEAP preschool provides wonderful early learning opportunities for preschool-aged students living within the Renton School District boundaries. Preschool-aged children experience pre-kindergarten learning in a structured and nurturing environment. The ECEAP preschool encourages parent and extended family involvement and offers evening activities for families regularly throughout the school year.
