When to Apply
Referral forms and work samples must be received by the Discovery Program office no later than December 19, 2007.  Referral forms are available in your school's main office, or by calling the Discovery Program Office at (425) 204-2401. You may also click here to download the referral form.

Timeline and Process
Students in grades 1 through 7 are tested each winter. Those who qualify are offered placement on a space-available basis for the following school year.

December - Referral forms and work samples are due in the Discovery Program office by the December 19, 2007.

February - May - Students who have been referred will be given the Discovery placement evaluation.

May - Parents will be notified of the results of the child's assessment. If your child qualifies for placement in the program, you will need to decide if you would like for him/her to be transfered to the program school that serves his/her attendance area.
