The Leaning Assistance Program (LAP) and Title I Program at Cascade Elementary, provide additional instructional assistance to qualifying students in grades K-5 in the areas of reading and mathematics. Students are tested and chosen for the program based on test scores and/or their classroom teacher's recommendation. Instruction takes place in various settings; varying from individual help to small groups. Students are assisted either in their regular classroom (in-class) or in the Title I/LAP classroom in a pull-out model.
