Cascade Classroom's School Supplies

supply list pic

These are the items your student will need for the upcoming school year.  Please send them with your student on the first day of school.  All items should be labeled with your student’s name unless other noted.

KINDERGARTEN

Large backpack or book bag
Plastic school box with lid
24 pack of crayons
Scissors (Fiskars are the easiest to use)
1 box tissue
12 regular sized glue sticks in a Ziploc bag
1 box Ziploc baggies
Markers (Crayola or Mr. Sketch preferable)
1 box of baby wipes
1 ream of white copy paper
1 box granola bars (for emergency kits)
$15.00 cooking money donation (checks can be made payable to Cascade Elementary)

If last name starts with:
A-F:   1 package of paper cups
G-L:   1 package of paper napkins
M-P:  1 package of paper plates
Q-Z:   1 dozen fatty pencils (primary) 

FIRST GRADE

Individual (Label with child’s name)
Backpack
Scissors
Pencil Box
Pocket folder with prongs
Shared Supplies (No name)
1 dozen #2 yellow pencils (sharpen please)
24 pack of crayons (Crayola)
12 small glue sticks
1 bottle of white glue
1 pair of scissors (Fiskars are easiest to use)
1 pack of pink erasers
1 box of tissue
1 box of baby wipes
$10 craft/supply fee

If last name starts with:
A-M: 
1 bulk snack item (fish crackers, pretzels, plain animal crackers)
1 box sandwich size Ziploc bags
N-Z: 
1 box gallon size Ziploc bags
1 package paper plates

Large backpack or book bag
1 small school box to hold supplies
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
2 boxes of tissue
Scissors, metal with plastic handle
12 small glue sticks
2 boxes of 24 count crayons
2 dozen #2 plain yellow pencils
2 large pink pearl erasers
2 folders (pocket at the bottom)
1 ruler (12” metric and standard)
Fat felt-tipped markers (water soluble)
1 box of granola bars (for emergency kits)
2 spiral notebooks – wide lines
1 box of colored pencils
1 ream of white copy paper
NO BINDERS
$5.00 extra supplies fee

If last name starts with:
A-H:  1 box of Ziploc bags
I-O:  1 box of baby wipes
P-Z: 1 package paper napkins

THIRD GRADE

2 dozen #2 yellow pencils (sharpen please)
1 – 24 to 48 pack of crayons (Crayola)
1 – 8 pack markers (water soluble only)
8 white glue sticks (no purple)
1 – 4oz. Elmer’s glue
1 - 12 pack of color pencils (sharpen please)
Scissors (Fiskars are easiest to use)
2 large boxes of tissue
2 large pink pearl erasers
Ruler (12” both metric and standard)
3 folders (with pockets at the bottom)
Notebook paper (wide-ruled, three hole)
1 box of granola bars (for emergency kits)
1 small pencil box or pencil pouch
$3.00 material fee (craft and cooking)
1 ream of white copy paper
NO 3-RING BINDERS

Boys bring:  Sandwich zip baggies & paper plates

Pencil pouch or box
6 subject dividers
4 packages notebook paper (wide-ruled, 3 hole)
2 dozen #2 plain yellow pencils
Large pink pearl erasers
Ruler (12” both inches/centimeters) no bendable rulers
2 pocket folders
2 spiral notebooks
Scissors (Fiskar brand preferred)
Large box of tissue
Colored pencils
1 bottle Elmer’s glue
1 box granola bars (for emergency kits)
1 ream of white copy paper

Should Haves
24 count box of crayons
Markers
Glue sticks
2 non-permanent fine point black felt tip markers

1 jumbo glue sticks (non-liquid)
1 box markers (water soluble)
Colored pencils
3 dozen #2 plain yellow pencils
1 large pink pearl eraser
1 pencil pouch
1 ruler (12” both metric and standard)
1 ream of wide ruled notebook paper
2 spiral notebooks with wide lines
8 subject dividers
1 box of granola bars (for emergency kits)
1 3-ring binder (wide 2-3”) zippered binders okay if less than 3” wide
1 box crayons
2 red pens/pencils
1 ream of white copy paper
1 pack of Post-it notes (square or rectangle)

Boys bring:  Sandwich Ziploc baggies & styro-foam cups
Girls bring:  Gallon Ziploc baggies & disinfectant wipes
